Defining Your Style

Traditional Architecture Styles

The Traditional design style have characteristics of one or more historical architectural styles, without being easily classified as any particular style. They can be eclectic or simply pared-down, mondern-day interpretations of historic architectural styles. They tend to feature floor plans with a formal living and dining room, along with traditional comforts like welcoming front porches and cozy fireplaces.

Contemporary Architecture Styles

The Contemporary architectural style runs the gamut from mid-century modern to the latest designs representing current trends towards sleek, contemporary design. This design is characterized by clean, simple lines, a minimum of decoration, lots of glass, and flat or shed rooflines.

Mediterranean Architecture Styles

Homes with the Mediterranean style tend to mimic those traditionally found in Mediterranean countries, particularly Spain, France and Italy. The most distinctive characteristic of this style of home is a low-pitched tile roof, which is often red. These homes often include extensive outdoor living areas, columns and arched windows and openings, and are usually finished in stucco.

Rustic Modern Architecture Styles

Rustic Modern style homes usually have an open floor plan, modern furniture and preserved and exposed natural architectural elements. The color scheme is very simple with large windows bringing the outdoors in. This design style has an informal elegance.
